I seem to notice everything,
Even things I don't wish to notice.
I've spent a lot of time alone in my life,
Maybe that's why I'm like this.

How I am perceived was always an issue I, and others, struggle with.
It took a while to not be concerned about how others perceived me 
and things that I'm doing 
and to be honest I wouldn't say I'm completely over this 
but today I'm a lot more comfortable with myself and the way 
I choose to express my emotions and insecurities, 
especially as a dude. 
Life's too short to be insecure about everything you do.

It's important to follow your dream
Especially when it's rushing in your gut
And this is an expression of that
Trusting the process 
and having belief in your Art 
or any mode of expression you may have

Struggled with identity and masculinity all my life
Life's too short to let such things happen
Progress in your life

Trusting the process is allowing God 
or whatever you choose to believe in 
guide you in this weird ass thing we call life
Believe in yourself and be your first fan
