Film-maker | Writer | Artist | Photographer
I think the first picture I fell in love with was Jamaica; still I've yet to see a place that beautiful. I watched a lot of films and anime as a child, but being a film-maker never felt realistic growing up.
I made a lot of short funny videos as a child with my friends and family parodying anime and movies. Still it never came into my mind to try this path until I saw the Imitation Game for the first time. One quote changed my life in that film: "Sometimes, it's the people no one imagines anything of who do the things no one can imagine."
The place I grew up in in Jamaica barely had 500 people and it felt like most of us were just surviving without any purpose or any way to get out and follow the dreams we all had. Stuck in a loop of struggle, fighting just to exist. I didn't want that for myself and that's why I'm here doing my best to be the film-maker I dream to be.
If you find my work interesting or even inspiring feel free to follow the journey as this is just the beginning.
